Shipping Policies

Within Canada

FREE shipping on orders over $200 

Our goods are sent in eco-friendly packaging which is better for you and for our planet. Orders typically ship within 5-7 business days however sometimes life gets in the way and we may take an extra few days to get your order out. If you need your item sooner for a special occasion, please reach out and we'll see what kind of magic we can make happen.

Please note that once your order leaves our studio we are not responsible for any delays due to weather or unforseen circumstances. As always, we will do our best to resolve any issues that may come up.

International

We are happy to ship Modest Maverick worldwide.

For international orders, we strongly recommend selecting a tracked shipping option at checkout. Tracked shipping allows both you and us to follow your package's journey and confirm delivery.

If untracked shipping is selected, please note that once your order leaves our studio we have no way to locate the package or confirm delivery. Because of this, Modest Maverick cannot be responsible for items that are lost, delayed, or undelivered when shipped without tracking. 

Choosing a tracked service provides peace of mind and helps ensure your order arrives safely.

Please also note that international customers may be responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees reuired by their country.  

We will issue a reimbursement for the product's value, less shipping fees, and a $10 restocking fee for returns due to unpaid customs taxes or fees. We do not enter a lesser amount on the customs form or mark as a gift.

When Will My Order Be Shipped?

We ship all orders within 5-7 business days. If you need your item sooner, feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can do!

Lost or Damaged Parcels

We are not responsible for any loss or damage during shipping. In the unfortunate event that this happens, please contact us immediately and we will work with you and the shipping company to find a solution.

Your Shipping Address

We ship all orders to the address provided at checkout. We're unable to modify shipping information after receiving the order so please verify the correct shipping details before order confirmation.

The customer is responsible for re-shipping fees and a $10 administrative fee if the order ships to an incorrect address due to customer error.

We do everything we can to pack and ship orders quickly. However, delays can occur due to postal service delays, customs clearing (International orders only), and statutory holidays.

We do not guarantee delivery on a specific date unless you have upgraded to XpressPost service. We do not offer a refund or credit for items delayed in delivery. Please contact us if you have any special shipping requests.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of our small-batch production and shipping costs, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

We welcome your feedback and use it to improve our products and service. If the mistake is ours or a product fails due to a manufacturing error, we will replace your product.

If you buy Modest Maverick goods from a retail store, please contact the store for assistance with return or exchange.

Warranty

Modest Maverick warrants all of our products to be free of defects in material or production and screens all products before shipping. At our discretion, Modest Maverick will replace the defective product or refund its value. Damage through accident, misuse, improper washing, or wear and tear is not covered. Take care of your goods!
