Hello and welcome to this rad community filled with rad products, open and honest conversations, sick 90s dance moves and last but not least - humour! 

My name is Erin Mitchell and I am the 'Head Honcho' of Modest Maverick where you landed and somehow found yourself here. My husband, bonus-daughter and our fir babies, Wren and Rosie live and play on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC and wouldn't have it any other way. This island is magical and if you ever get the chance to visit, it's a must.

A little about the brand...

Modest Maverick draws inspiration from my three faves - Travel, Nature, Adventre and originated in the small surf town of Tofino on Vancouver Island's West Coast. Beyond being blankets, this brand embodies a lifestyle, serving as a perpetual prompt to embrace the great outdoors, indulge in beach walks, share campfires with loved ones and forge lasting memories. The brand's essence encourages individuals to recognize that nature is a constant source of inspiration, guiding them to their best selves even in times of uncertainty.

Nature is my go-to and as my husband and I continue to grow our little hobby farm on, I am reminded of this daily when I step outside, plant my feet in the ground and get my hands dirty whilst building our little dream together. 

I hope that I can encourage you to live out your wildest dreams because anything is possible. You just have to put forth the effort and watch the magic unfold and afterall, magic is everywhere.
